Fushitsusha at La Bâtie Festival
On September 2, 2026, La Becque joined forces with Geneva-based association Konnekt to support Fushitsusha’s concert at the Alhambra in Geneva, presented as part of La Bâtie Festival. The event continued a collaboration that had previously brought Keiji Haino, a major figure in Japanese experimental music and founder of Fushitsusha, to La Becque for solo performances and recording sessions.
Led by Haino since the late 1970s, Fushitsusha is one of the most influential and elusive groups to emerge from the Japanese experimental underground. Moving between rock, psychedelia, improvisation, and noise, the band creates an intensely physical music in which each performance unfolds as an unpredictable and immersive experience.
