Music for Intersecting Planes

Recorded at night by candlelight in the Temple of La Tour-de-Peilz, Music for Intersecting Planes captures the immediacy of sound in space. Cellist Leila Bordreuil and organist Kali Malone shape a sparse yet immersive composition where air, strings, feedback, and sine waves intertwine. Performed live in single takes, the music unfolds slowly, punctuated by silence, breaths, and subtle shifts in texture. The chapel itself becomes part of the piece, with distant bells and passing sounds blending into the sonic fabric.
