Sub Re

Sub Re is an album by François J. Bonnet, released on Shelter Press. Composing under the name Kassel Jaeger, Bonnet continues his exploration of the musical possibilities of sound, drawing on acoustic, electronic, natural, and found materials to create richly layered sonic environments. Developed from recordings gathered across different places and contexts, the album unfolds as a sequence of shifting textures where density and fragility coexist, revealing a deeply physical approach to listening.

François J. Bonnet has served as Director of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) in Paris since 2018 and is a member of the jury for La Becque’s Principal Residency Program.
