Claudia Fuggetti (IT, 1993)
Residency period: March 2026
Invited to La Becque as part of a residency with Plateforme 10 in Lausanne, Claudia Fuggetti (lives and works in Taranto) is a visual artist and photographer whose work explores the intersections of nature, technology, and contemporary notions of transformation. Through photography, digital matter, and speculative ecologies, her practice examines hybrid forms and post-natural metamorphosis as expressions of a shifting relationship between the organic and the synthetic.
She holds a Master’s degree with honours in Digital Cultures from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been presented internationally, including at Les Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles (2018), Copenhagen Photo Festival (2021), Photo Elysée Museum in Lausanne (2025), Fotofestiwal Łódź (2025), and the European Photography Month in Tokyo (2025). In 2025, she was selected for the Emergence sector at Paris Photo and is part of the FUTURES Photography European platform. Her practice has also been recognised through several international awards.
