Jazmín López (AR, 1984)

Jazmín López is an Argentine filmmaker and visual artist based between New York and Buenos Aires. A two-time participant in the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York, she is represented by Ruth Benzacar Art Gallery in Buenos Aires. Her work has been shown at institutions such as Fondation Pernod Ricard in Paris, the San Jose Museum of Art, OCAT in Shanghai, Tabacalera in Madrid, Kadist in Paris, the Istanbul Biennial, and the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, as well as major art fairs including Art Basel.
Her films have been screened at prominent festivals and venues including the Venice Biennale, International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), Viennale, New Directors/New Films at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Lincoln Center in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and KW Berlin.
She has served on juries for BAFICI in Buenos Aires (2019), FidMarseille (2023), and the Hubert Bals Fund (2025). Most recently, the MoMA acquired several of her films. She currently holds a tenure-track faculty position at Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
